K-Culture and Peacebuilding

My reflection

During The Experiment’s K-Culture and Peacebuilding program, I lived with a Korean host family and worked alongside Korean students to discuss socioeconomic and civic issues affecting their communities. We explored Korea’s history, including Japanese colonization and the Korean War, and discussed how the past continues to shape the country today. Living with a host family and learning directly from Korean students gave me a perspective on the country that I could not have gained in a classroom.
