01Cadet Program

Civil Air Patrol

Since seventh grade, Civil Air Patrol has been an important part of my journey, shaping my understanding of leadership, service, and aerospace. As a cadet, I have grown through hands-on aviation experiences, leadership development, aerospace education, and opportunities to serve alongside fellow cadets. Now a Chief Master Sergeant, I continue to challenge myself to lead with integrity, embrace new experiences, and explore my passion for aviation.

A View from the Air

There is nothing quite like experiencing aviation from the cockpit. These videos capture moments of my journey flying the Cessna 172 through Civil Air Patrol, offering a glimpse into the sights, sounds, and experiences of flight. From the perspective of the pilot’s seat to the movement of the aircraft in the air, each recording reflects my growing appreciation for aviation, the precision it requires, and the excitement of learning to navigate the skies.

Leadership in Action

Civil Air Patrol encampment is an immersive leadership experience that challenges cadets to grow through teamwork, discipline, and service. Through structured training, physical fitness, aerospace education, drill and ceremonies, and collaborative activities, cadets learn to operate as a team while developing confidence and accountability. Encampment pushes us beyond our comfort zones, teaching us to lead by example, support one another, and approach challenges with resilience. More than a training experience, it is an opportunity to put CAP's values into practice every day.
